Intelligent coffee machines – how is that possible?
Evoca Group has always been determined to make machines that are as environmentally friendly as possible. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce that we have added an intelligent energy saving function to Wittenborg's 9100 and 95 models. The intelligent energy-saving function optimises the machines’ power consumption, due to the fact that they are now able to judge for themselves when the time is right to enter energy-saving mode.
How is that possible? Well, the machines gather information on the number of drinks delivered during the last two weeks and, based on the number and the timing of vends, they estimate when to go into the energy saving mode. For example, it may be quiet in the office between 4:30 pm and 7:00 am: the machines will detect this, based on the statistics for the last two weeks and automatically go into energy-saving mode. What’s more, machines can detect patterns in daily use, allowing them to revert to energy saving mode during weekends.
